WCSP COVID & FLU SEASON HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY UPDATE
Throughout the pandemic WCSP has closely followed the CDC Public Health guidance as well as all local mandates regarding masking, social distancing, hand-washing and sanitation. Currently, Public Health data puts Beaufort County in a low risk category for COVID spread.
The WSCP policy is therefore updated as follows:
This update does not change the policy that Interest Group Leaders may put in place additional, appropriate guidelines for the safety and needs of their group as deemed necessary by their activities.
With respect to the upcoming events, members registering will continue to self-certify they are vaccinated.
The health and safety of our members is always our primary concern.
This position will continue to be monitored in coming months as we move into the busy season with increased travel. And, it may need to be reviewed again as the public health situation in our local community requires. Meanwhile, thank you for your vigilance and cooperation.
